OAO RESERVATION POLICY:

 

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD

We require a minimum two day rental. No same day rentals.

 

PICK UP/RETURN TIMES

Pick up times are between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the day of the departure.  Special arrangements may be made upon request for pick up outside the time frame and will also depend on availability of equipment.  The trailers are due back by 12:00 PM on the return date.  A fee of $25 per hour applies to all late returns. Pick up and drop off are in Sauk City, Wisconsin.

 

RESERVATION DEPOSIT

An initial rental deposit of $100 is required to secure a reservation.  Upon pick up, the initial rental deposit will be applied to the balance of the rental.    

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit of $500 will be held on your credit card and is fully refundable less any equipment damage, loss equipment, cleaning, evidence of road restriction use violations, traffic violations or fees, unpaid camping fee, and extra day use fee.

 

BALANCE OF PAYMENTS

The balance of rental fees are due upon pick up and must be paid in US dollars by cash, cashier check, Mastercard or Visa.  There will be a 2.9% charge if paying by credit card.  There will be no refund for late pick up or early return.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be in writing, preferably email.  If you cancel more than 30 days before your reservation, your initial deposit is fully refundable.  If you cancel between 7 and 30 days of your reservation, your initial deposit can go towards a future rental, but it is not refundable.  If you cancel within 7 days of your reservation, your initial deposit is forfeited.  

 

INSURANCE

Proof of insurance is required for the towing vehicle and that the policy must also cover the rented trailer.  The renter MUST provide proof of insurance stating that Liability will extend back to the Rental Trailer. If renter does not provide proof of liability insurance at time of pick‐up the Trailer cannot be released for rental.  The minimum required liability coverage is 25,000/50,000/10,000.

 

DRIVERS

All drivers must possess a valid drivers license, as well as a major credit card.  An international drivers license is recommended for all foreign tourists, but not required.  The minimum age to rent the trailers is 25.  All drivers must meet the insurance requirements as stated above.

TRAFFIC AND CAMPSITE INFRINGEMENTS

The renter agrees to abide by all federal, state and local laws governing the use of the trailer and water crafts, including but not limited to all camping regulations, speed limits and otherwise.  We reserve the right to charge the renter for any fines or infractions such as traffic infringements, parking fees, road toll fines or any unpaid camping fees or fines.  An additional $50 fee will be charged per fine to cover the cost of processing.

 

CLEANING

Rental equipment will be clean upon pick up and must be returned in the same condition.  It is required that the equipment be returned in the manner that it was rented, including being reasonably clean and free of stains.  Failure to clean the equipment or equipment will result in additional cleaning fees taken out of your deposit (minimum of $75). 

 

ROAD RESTRICTIONS

Driving in 'off-road' areas is prohibited.  Off road areas may include, but is not limited to, fire trails, logging roads, service roads regardless of surface composition, or other roughly graded trails and roads upon which vehicular travel by the public is permitted.  This does not include state or federal maintained gravel or dirt roads.  Renter is responsible for all damages to trailer, tires, and other expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in off-road areas.

 

DAMAGE AND INSPECTION

Trailer damage, repair, and replacement, including that of tires, is the responsibility of the renter.  Prior to using the trailer, you will perform a thorough inspection of the trailer, noting any damage.  All prior damage must be noted at the time of pick up.  Damage will be taken out of the security deposit.  Any damage not covered by the security deposit must be paid for at drop off. 

 

BREAKDOWNS AND ACCIDENTS

We require that you contact us immediately and let us know if you experience a mechanical breakdown or are involved in an accident.  We will do our best to get you back on the road.  Failure to contact us following a breakdown or accident may result in the security deposit being forfeited at the management's discretion.

 

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY APPLICANT.
